Saints Down Mossies In Grand Final

Mossies v D'ViewA galant Mossies went down to a strong Osborne Park team by 5 shots in the Premier League grand Final held at Yokine yesterday.
Final scores were Saints 84 - Mossies 79. It was the finale to a great season in which the new Mossies team, were hopefully good enough to stay in Premier League. The Mosman Park Bowling Club could not be more proud of their Premier team who have put the rest of the competition on notice that they are now a force in the elite Premier League competition.

It wasn't a great day for all Mossies teams in trying to bring home a premiership flag. 5th Division went down to Sorrento by 8 shots.
6th Div
6th Div went down to Mt Pleasant for the colours grand final.

Battle for Top Spots

1st Div Blue are in 2nd spot and only percentage separates them from Rockingham.This week's game against Manning who are in 4th spot should be a beauty, whilst Rockingham play 3rd placed Warnbro at home.
6th Div White look likely to finish in 3rd spot should they win both rinks on Thursday.
6th Div Red has a 2½ point lead over East Fremantle and also has a better percentage and should they win both rinks against Armadale will end the season in 4th spot.

Our Tuesday Women's sides once again proved that they are highly competitive with Premier League and Div 2 White on top on their respective ladders.
Div 5 White are currently in fifth spot.

2nd Division Blood New Players

The new women's Lime Division 2 team exceeded everyone's expectations when they managed to in three games with six novice bowlers, of which three only started to bowl this year. The Club is more than happy with the progress and the girls have built the foundations of what should be a more experienced side going into the 2010/2011 season.

New Comp Starts March 31st

Barefoot Bowls starts up again on the 31st March. A new look format played on Wednesday evenings will see more prizes and more fun. Each side will have 4 players. Cost $10 per player per night. This includes food, prizes, green and bowls costs. Starts 31st March and finishes 5th May. Click here to register your side.

Social Scene

This year's Players' Wind Up will be held at the club at 12:00 noon on Sunday 18th April. All members are invited as well as guests of attending members. Around The Club

The Club is always aware of any pending Safety & Health issues. Please observe club rules whilst at the club.
C green is currently being revamped. The green will be re-leveled by using a laser leveling device.
Extra lights are currently under review for both 'Á' & 'C' Greens.
Members are reminded that there is a car park on the north side of the ground with access to the ground via a gateway at the end of the parking area.

Volunteers Needed
The Club has undertaken a program to bring a few events to the club this year. But these can only be achieved by having volunteers help with these events. If you are able to help the club volunteer for the organising of functions, please email the club. We need volunteers for the kitchen and function room.
